How does Roast work?
You pick a target, set the heat, and paste text or upload a picture. The AI reads it and returns a verdict, a score, specific burns, red flags and one grudging compliment — all packaged in a share-ready card.
Is it free?
You get 3 roasts every day for free. Pro removes the cap and unlocks max heat.
Where does my text go?
It's sent to the AI model to generate the roast, and nothing you paste is stored publicly unless you press "Get link". Your history lives only in your own browser.
What happens when I publish a roast?
A public page is created at /r/your-slug so anyone with the link can see the card, and it can appear in the Gallery. Only the roast output is published — never the original text you pasted.
Can I roast a picture?
Yes. Switch to "Upload picture" and drop in an image up to 5MB. Add optional context and the AI will roast what it sees.
How savage does it get?
Very — but never cruel. Roast avoids slurs, protected characteristics and punching down. It roasts your choices, not who you are.
